About the Author
My name is Jeff Gross and I'm a 28-year-old graduate of Kansas State University at Salina where I majored in Computer Science Technology, Computer Information Systems, and Technology Management. I had watched or listened to several of Jackie's games when she played at Claflin High School (KS) and was interested in how she would handle the jump to college basketball. It didn't take long, as she made a huge impact her freshman season at Southwest Missouri State. During December of 1997, I decided to create this site so that fans could keep track of her progress at SMS, and I could improve my web development skills. The site has continued to grow as Jackie progressed through college and into the WNBA. After college, I moved from Galva, Kansas to Chandler, Arizona, which is 20 minutes southeast of Phoenix, and currently work for Element Payment Services as the Director of Business Integration.
